Main Capital-backed Roxit Group acquires Brein

Madeleine Farman 6 December 2017

Main Capital-backed Roxit, the public-sector software group, has acquired cloud services company Brein.

Brein will compliment Roxit Group’s offering. It currently provides services to governments, companies and social organisations.

Operating in the Netherlands, Roxit employs more than 90 staff and has offices in Zwolle, Arnhem and Zoetermeer. The company serves around 380 customers across a number of municipalities and works for more than 80 per cent of the Dutch authorities.

“Given the government's digital agenda, local governments need to continuously innovate their services as well as their collaboration with citizens and companies. This requires flexible, state-of-the-art solutions that allow our customers to continuously develop and improve their services and workflows,” Roxit Group’s chief commercial officer Rob van Tiel said.

“By adding Brein to the group, we are achieving synergies that allow us to accelerate our ambitions towards the cloud.”

Main Capital invested in Roxit in June 2015 and has since bolted-on software provider Green Valley, geographical data company Crotec and cloud services provider PSMS.
