LDC-backed Babble Cloud acquires Arden Group

Madeleine Farman 23 October 2018

LDC-backed cloud-based communications technology provider Babble Cloud has bolted on Birmingham-based Arden Group.

The acquisition of IT and telecoms solutions provider Arden will double Babble’s revenue to nearly £20m (€22.7m) and create a combined customer base of over 1,200, according to the firm. It will also bring Babble its first office outside of London.

LDC backed London-based Babble, previously known as IP Solutions, one year ago. Its clients include brands such as National Geographic, Oak Furniture Land and Secret Escapes.

Arden is the second acquisition the business has made this year. It has also bolted on communications technology re-seller Direct Response Plus, a division of customer service delivery business Yonder Digital Group.
