Nicholas Neveling, Editor
Nicholas joined Real Deals in April 2008 and has been covering the European private equity market for almost a decade. He was previously a reporter at Accountancy Age and prior to that worked for the South African publications Business Day and The Sunday Times. Nicholas graduated in journalism from Rhodes University in 2002.
Samantha Birchall, Junior Editor
Sam joined Real Deals in January 2018. Previous to this she worked as an Editorial Assistant in academic publishing for Taylor and Francis alongside doing freelance content writing. Sam graduated in History and Politics from the University of Leeds in 2016.

Ram joined Real Deals in October 2016 from Euromoney Institutional Investor, where he headed up advertising sales for Metal Bulletin. He also has over half a decade’s experience working with alternate asset classes and brings in a wealth of experience from his tenure at PEI, where he headed up advertising for Infrastructure Investor. Ram is a post graduate in International Business from University of Bedfordshire
Steve Walsh, Subscriptions Sales Manager
Steve is responsible for all subscriptions globally for Real Deals. He joined in July 2011 after ten years at IFR (Thomson Reuters). Steve also has experience in the renewable energy sector from his time at the New Energy World Network
