Nokia has tabled a NKr843m (€105m) offer for Oslo stock exchange-listed software company Trolltech.
The Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund (AP6) has backed the manageme buyout of the automotive metals division of Kendrion, a company listed in Amsterdam.
EQT has sold Finnish machinery group Finn-Power to smaller Italian competitor Prima Industrie for an enterprise value of €170m. EQT is understood to have bought Finn-Power for more than €170m in 2002. The firm declined to comment on precise figures but conceeded the investment “was not good”.
Emertec Gestion and Schneider Electric Ventures have backed semiconductor design company Tiempo with €1.1m.
Ratos has refinanced business services company Bisnode after an announced IPO was recently withdrawn. Ratos owns a 70 per cent stake in the company and will receive a cash payment of SKr605m in two tranches following the deal.
Mobile network Blyk has raised funds from Goldman Sachs and the Industrial & Financial Investments Company (IFIC) as it prepares to launch in the Netherlands.
