Law firm Travers Smith has promoted three senior private equity specialists to partner in its latest round of promotions.
Ian Keefe has spent his whole legal career at Travers Smith, joining the firm as a trainee nine years ago. Recent transactions he has advised on include Bridgepoint‘s acquisition of the UK master franchise for Burger King and Montagu‘s purchase of Offsite Archive Storage and Integrated Services.
Genevieve Marten joined Travers Smith in 2011 after qualifying at Burness Paul and completing a master’s degree at the University of Cambridge. She has recently advised on Bridgepoint’s management buyout of Estera, the firm’s sale of Oasis Dental, 3i‘s sale of its stake in Anglian Water and TA Associates‘ reinvestment in The Access Group alongside new investor Hg.
George Weavil joined Travers Smith as a trainee in 2009 and qualified at the firm. He has advised on transactions including TA Associates’ acquisition of the single strategy asset management business of Old Mutual Wealth, CBPE Capital‘s investment in Xceptor and Bridgepoint’s sale of Beck & Pollitzer.
