Bain Capital will float Autodis, its Paris-headed vehicle parts distributor on Euronext Paris.

Autodis hopes to raise between €350m and €400m through the IPO. The transaction will value the business at approximately €1.2bn, a person familiar with the matter told Real Deals.

Bain bought Autodis from Towerbrook Capital Partners and Investcorp in October 2015. Under the firm’s hold, the business has made acquisitions in Belgium, Italy and France.

Autodis sells spare parts for cars and trucks in western Europe – mainly France, the Benelux nations and Italy – from around 330 distribution sites. It also offers its customers sales-related services and digital tools.

The company generated revenues of approximately €1.3bn in 2017.
