UK lower mid-market firm Cairngorm Capital has opened an Edinburgh office and made two new hires.
Lucy Graham joins Cairngorm as an investment manager from Clydesdale Bank, where she was most recently a senior corporate finance partner. Prior to that she spent ten years as a director within the leveraged finance team.
While at Clydesdale, Graham worked on financing packages for Cairngorm’s acquisitions of Polyframe, WB Group, Stevenswood and Customade. She began her career in corporate law at MinterEllison in Sydney and Dentons in Edinburgh.
Graham will work in the new Edinburgh office alongside Neil McGill.
Meanwhile, Panita Vongkusolkit joins the firm’s London office as an investment manager.
Vongkusolkit arrives from Mitr Phol Group, Asia Pacific’s largest sugar, food ingredient and bioenergy producer. At the Thai conglomerate she led investment initiatives and gained commercial and operational experience within the business.
Cairngorm backs manufacturing, distribution and services companies generating profit of £2m to £20m. The firm is led by former HIG Capital dealmaker Andrew Steel.
