Ardian is exploring a sale of its French home products online retailer Bricoprivé, Real Deals understands.

Rothschild has been appointed to run the process. Ardian declined to comment on the matter.

Ardian invested in Bricoprivé just over two years ago, paying €2.5m for a minority stake in the business through its Ardian Growth fund.

The business has made two bolt-ons since Ardian invested. It acquired electric tools seller Racetools in September and gadget website Noova last month.

Based in Toulouse, Bricoprivé specialises in flash sales of DIY, home and garden products. It has around €100m of revenues.
