Norvestor acquires construction company Wexus

Norvestor has acquired a 60 per cent stake in Norwegian construction company Wexus.

Wexus specialises in semi-permanent modular buildings used by governmental institutions, municipalities and customers in the oil and gas, infrastructure, utilities and shipbuilding markets.

Wexus employs 79 people at its headquarters in Stavanger and a production facility in Talinn, Estonia. It generated turnover of NOK70m (€7.4m) in 2016, a figure which is expected to double this year.

Arkwright, Schjødt, PwC, Amrop Delphi and DnV-GL advised Norvestor. SpareBank 1 SR-Bank Markets and Torstrup advised the vendors.
