MML Capital Partners has invested £36m in IT managed services business CSI.

CSI offers infrastructure, applications and cyber security services to mid and large sized corporates including Primark, Allianz and Pizza Hut. It generates turnover of £48m and Ebitda of £9m.

MML has become the lead investor in CSI. Blackhawk Capital, which acquired CSI in 2012, retains an equity stake. Blackhawk is run by IT veterans Alan Watkins and Kevin Lewis.

The MML deal team comprised managing partner Bal Johal, partner Luke Jones and director Rob Devonshire. The firm was advised by Catalyst Corporate Finance, with debt provided by Permira Debt Managers and RBS.
