Swiss investor Partners Group has appointed a new chief investment officer amid a reshuffle of its senior team.
Stephan Schali, formerly co-head of private equity, takes up the position. Schali has been with the firm since 1999 and sits on a number of committees.
The other private equity co-head, David Layton, will assume full responsibility for the role, while head of integrated investments Andreas Baumann will take on responsibility for the firm’s private equity secondary and primary business.
The moves are part of a wider restructuring of Partners Group’s top team, which see Layton and head of private infrastructure Juri Jenker join the firm’s executive committee.
