HQ Capital, the private equity and real estate assets manager, has hired a new chief operating officer less than a year after replacing its chief executive.
Heiko Dimmerling will join from buyout firm Triton, where he was previously partner and managing director.
He takes over from Georg Wunderlin, who stepped up from chief operating officer to chief executive last September and has since been undertaking both roles.
At Triton, where he spent more than 16 years, Dimmerling was jointly responsible for re-orienting the company’s strategy and shaping its structure.
Prior to that, he was a project manager with auditing and tax consultancy firm Arthur Andersen.
He studied business economics at the University of Applied Sciences, Fulda.
