Ardenton makes first UK investment with Corbetts the Galvanizers
Canadian private equity firm Ardenton has made its first UK investment, backing Corbetts the Galvanisers. The firm opened its first UK office, in Manchester, earlier this year.
Telford-headed Corbetts is the UK’s largest independent hot dip galvaniser and works with clients in a range of manufacturing areas.
Ardenton, which unusually aims to hold portfolio companies indefinitely, hopes to make three to four UK investments and to start raising its first UK-focused fund this year.
The firm has invested alongside the business’s managing director and financial director.
