CapMan‘s growth capital subsidiary Norvestia has exited Idean Enterprises, a Finnish design company, to IT and consulting services group Capgemini.

The exit will contribute approximately €6m to €7m to CapMan’s first quarter 2017 net result.

Norvestia took a 24.8 per cent stake in the business, which focuses on the design of different strategic customer and user experiences, in 2014.

“Our goal was to take Idean’s design know-how global and in this we have succeeded well – Idean is the first Finnish-born design company to make a breakthrough in the US,” said Juha Mikkola, member of Norvestia’s board and  head of growth equity investments at CapMan.

CapMan acquired investment manager Norvestia last year. Mikkola has since been appointed to CapMan’s management group.
