Northern UK-focused firm NorthEdge Capital has promoted James Marshall and George Potts to senior investment executive.
Marshall focuses on the origination and execution of new deals at NorthEdge. He joined the firm last year from Dow Schofield Watts, where he worked for nearly three years, and before that spent four years in EY’s transaction services team, qualifying as a chartered financial accountant.
Potts has been at NorthEdge since 2011 and was part of the team involved in closing the firm’s first fund. He works with NorthEdge’s portfolio companies, in particular on ESG compliance. In addition to his investment experience at NorthEdge, he has also been involved in several alternative energy-focused investment initiatives.
This year NorthEdge has also promoted Emma Rawlinson to chief financial officer and appointed new partner John Rastrick from Phoenix Equity Partners to lead the firm’s north east investment team, Ian Plumb as portfolio director from Endless, and Harry Jones as an investment executive from Deloitte.
