FSN Capital, a Nordic lower mid-market private equity firm, has sold on portfolio company Baggium’s care and treatment division to a strategic buyer. The unit, which provides care services to refugee and immigrant children with social and psychological problems and turned over SKr122m (€13.5m) last year, is now owned by healthcare company Humana after it paid an undisclosed sum.
“While the C&T business represents a pioneer and market leader in an attractive, rapidly growing segment, it does not fit in with the long-term strategy of Baggium,” said Peter Möller, partner at FSN Capital.
FSN has simultaneously exited Swedish battery charger company CTEK Creator Group, selling to Altor – a Nordic private equity firm that makes larger investments than FSN.
FSN currently manages two active funds: the €151m FSN Capital II and €375m FSN Capital III. The firm’s first, €54m vehicle was realised in 2007.
