Braveheart has led a £600,000 (€900,000) investment in Inxstor alongside the Scottish Co-investment Fund. Inxstor is a developer of “place-shifting” technology, which allows people to watch television programmes they would normally watch at home on devices such as mobile phones. The technology takes images and sound from home video equipment, processes them into digital signals and transmits them to the mobile device over a home internet connection. The funding wound will provide Inxstor with working capital to cover the next 12 months of product development, and allow it to expand its technical team. Inxstor span out from Braveheart portfolio company Infinite data Storage in 2006, and went on to raise a £400,000 seed round from Braveheart and other investors.
