French solar company Semco Engineering has raised €4.5m in a funding round supported by Demeter Partners and Soridec.
Semco specialises in enhancing the efficiency of solar power cells. The funding will be used to develop the company’s manufacturing and sales capabilities.
As part of the deal, Olivier Dupont, managing director of Demeter, will join the company’s board as vice-chairman.
