Mid-market corporate finance firm Livingstone Partners has added to its London office with the hire of Simon Cooper, Anant Kapoor and Oliver Vaughan, as it is seeing more deals come to the table.

Cooper joins from Ernst & Young where he spent time in the M&A, restructuring, commercial and financial due diligence teams across the retail and media sectors.

He is joined by former E&Y colleague Kapoor, who focused principally on M&A transactions in the financial services sector while at the accountancy firm.

Vaughan has joined from Deloitte, where he gained extensive experience of transactions in the energy, infrastructure and utilities sectors.

Livingstone partner James Lever said: “We have experienced a sustained increase  in new project flow and an encouraging willingness to get deals done throughout the mid-market.”

Livingstone has expanded throughout 2010 with the addition of a team of ten M&A professionals in Düsseldorf in July, taking its total headcount across its London, Chicago, Madrid and Düsseldorf teams to 70 staff.
