Gimv has appointed Annegret de Baey-Diepolder as a partner to join the firm’s life sciences team in Germany.

De Baey-Diepolder began her career as a doctor in the department of dermatology and allergology at Munich University. After a stint as a research fellow at vaccine company Micromet, she moved to TVM Capital in 2001, where she was appointed a partner in 2006.

During her time at TVM, she worked on investments in medical businesses Intercell, Jerini, Medigene PIPE and Riemser Arzneimittel.
