Central Europe and Turkey-focused Mid Europa Partners has acquired Alpha Medical from Penta Investments. 

Alpha Medical is a laboratory diagnostics provider operating in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland. The company performs more than 30 million laboratory tests each year through its integrated network of 50 laboratories across the three countries. 

“The acquisition of Alpha Medical represents a significant step in our strategy of consolidating the laboratory market in Central Europe by expanding our footprint beyond Poland where we invested in Diagnostyka and Fryda,” said Matthew Strassberg, Mid Europa partner.
