Activa Capital portfolio company Primavista, a specialist in maternity and school photography, has acquired Secret De Polichinelle, a French internet messaging company.

Founded in 1997, Secret de Polichinelle offers a personalised range of birth and wedding announcement cards through its websites naissance.fr and faire-part.com. 

The deal provides Primavista with complementary products and enables it to develop its digital services. Activa first invested in the company almost a year ago and has seen it grow revenues by seven per cent this year to €76m.

In the last 12 months the company has photographed over 450,000 babies and distributed nearly 1.8 million birth parcels.
