Stuart Quin, lead healthcare investor at 3i, has joined August Equity as investment director. 

In his new role he will predominantly focus on investing across the healthcare sector. 

Prior to joining 3i in July 2005, Quin was a manager in the health and life sciences strategy consulting practice of Accenture, based in Washington DC. He holds a PhD in immunology from Imperial College London, an MBA from INSEAD in France and Singapore as well as a BSc from Edinburgh University. 

“We have been talking to him for a while as August Equity has developed its plans for investment in this area,” commented Philip Rattle, managing partner of August.
