Lindsay Goldberg Vogel, the Central Europe division of New York's Lindsay Goldberg, has acquired Dutch company Plasticum Group.
From its four plants in Tilburg and Ede in the Netherlands, Waldkirch in Germany and North Walsham in the UK, the group manufactures special dispensers as well as caps and lids for personal care goods, food and household products. In 2011, Plasticum posted turnover of €61m. It employs around 300 people.
Following the transaction, Lindsay Goldberg plans to supports the groups' internationalisation plans, as well as investing in research and development.
“Plasticum is active in steady growing market niches and has good potential for further international expansion with its current customer base,” commented Thomas Ludwig, managing partner at Lindsay Goldberg Vogel. “We are convinced that Plasticum has the ability to gain many new customers in their business lines.”
