Former chief executive of Luxembourg-based BeCapital, Alexandre Schmitz, has joined Capstone Partners.

In his new role, Schmitz will lead Capstone's operations in Asia with the opening of the Singapore office.

As well as heading up BeCapital, Schmitz was also a member of the executive committee at Cobega and previously an investment director at PAI Partners. 

Capstone has also appointed Teena Jika, previously at JP Morgan's alternative investment group. She will be responsible for fundraising and origination in India.
