Specialist turnaround investor Rutland Partners has appointed James Barrington-Wells as an investment executive.
Barrington-Wells studied biological science at Edinburgh University and went on to qualify as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in 2009. He then worked in Deloitte's audit and corporate finance divisions for three years.
Rutland has had a few busy months with the sale of NoteMachine in August, its divestment of Pulse Home Products and the appointment of Michael Reynolds as an investment executive in July. The firm is currently investing its second fund, which was closed on £322m (€407.5m) in July 2007.
