Northern England-based North Edge Capital has appointed James Hall as director, where he will support partner Andy Ball in organising investments across the region. 

In the past Hall has worked for PwC, where he trained as a chartered accountant, Bridgepoint, Royal Bank Development Capital as well as Isis Equity partners. 

The North Edge team is largely comprised of former LDC team members.

This new signing comes less than a week after North Edge announced the £125m (€158m) close of its debut fund.
