Argos Soditic portfolio company Groupe Roc-Eclerc has been sold to its management team and entrepreneur Daniel Abittan.
Roc-Eclerc runs a franchise of funeral operators, with nearly 500 businesses in France and turnover of €145m, making it the second-largest funeral services business in the country. Argos Soditic bought the company seven years ago. Since then it has made five bolt-on acquisitions and increased its offering to include complementary advertising, insurance, financial services and training services.
Abittan is the founder of PhotoServices, Grand Optical and Acuitis, and will help the company to develop its franchise network.
