UK-based development investor CDC Group has appointed Colin Buckley as chief operating officer as Shonaid Jemmett-Page steps down.
Prior to joining, Buckley was the executive director of investments at the Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF).
In his new role he will be responsible for improving the effectiveness of the organisation to deliver CDC's new strategy.
Before his time at the CIFF, Buckley spent four years managing $400m (€319.1m) in US government funding for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC).
