UK venture philanthropy organisation Impetus Trust has appointed Alan Morton as an investment manager. 

Morton was most recently a director of private equity for Prudential Asset Management Management Singapore & Prudential Vietnam where he assisted in managing $200m (€159.6m) of private equity investments. Prior to that he worked for Silverfleet Capital Partners. 

In his new role, Morton will work on reducing reoffending and will provide management support to Blue Sky Development & Regeneration, Prison Radio Association and Shannon Trust. He will also support advocacy work for the Impetus for Reducing Reoffending Initiative. The objective of the initiative is to support organisations making a significant impact in reducing reoffending rates.
