Mid-market private equity firm Gresham has hired Michaela Ellison from Grant Thornton as its new marketing manager.

Ellison will be based in the firm's London office but will oversee marketing activity across its offices in Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. 

She spent three years with accounting firm Grant Thornton in the marketing team. Prior to that she worked in a boutique marketing consultancy targeting financial services.
