August Equity portfolio company Enara Group has announced the bolt-on acquisitions of County Care and five of the six businesses from The Home Service Group.
Enara, a buy-and-build platform company, was acquired by August Equity in November 2008 for £20m (EUR22.3m) and has announced six bolt-on acquisitions since the initial deal.
County Care, established in 1995, is a privately owned elderly homecare provider, based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. County Care provides high-quality homecare to the elderly in the private pay and local authority markets.
Home Service, established in 1989, is one of the largest providers of homecare services in Kent, with branches in Folkestone, Canterbury, Ramsgate and Deal.
Home Service provides support to older people and adults with physical or learning difficulties, neurological or terminal illnesses and those with mental health problems.
“The acquisitions allow Enara to expand their geographical reach with entry into the Kent market,” said August’s Aatif Hassan.
