Gimv has led a $25m (€17.3m) round in Ebuzzing, a social media group previously known as Wikio Group.

Ebuzzing is the creator of Overblog, a blog platform with 28 million unique visitors per month, and enables clients to promote brands on a range of social media. Founded in 2005, the company has offices across Europe and generated revenues of $15m last year, which it hopes to increase to $25m in 2011. 

The company has acquired eight businesses in its short life, the most recent of which was German social marketing platform Trigami.
